Wow, it looks like you had an incredible vacation! I love the lighthouses. Great progress on your memorial piece. Even a little bit is a step in the right direction. :)
So glad you had such a great vacation, Barb! We've gone to the Outer Banks each year with my husband's whole family for the past 27 years. I'm sure it was cooler now than when we're there in late July/early August; it is just sweltering. We took a one day side-trip to Okracoke a few years ago--very charming...
Had to laugh when reading about Claire being a target for the mosquitoes. Isn't it funny how they seem to prefer one person over another. My youngest son would look like he had chicken pox he'd get bitten so much--and they would swell up to the size of nickels! And the other guys would just have a bite here or there--very strange.
Glad you're home safely and your stitching is looking so pretty--I love its message, too :)
Wow!!! Looks like you had a great vacation!!!! Love the view!!!!!
Oh, that looks just lovely. Wish I could just jump into the photos on be instantly on vacation!
I love your new start!
I am so glad you enjoyed your stay in my wonderful state!! The Outer Banks are truly breathe taking...so full of nature..Speaking for all North Carolinians, we hope to preserve the unspoiled area you visited....Take care, Faye
What a great place to spend your vacation.
I am in the same stitching slump you are.
Pam
Sounds like you had a wonderful holiday.
I'm not familiar with this area but it sure looks like a wonderful vacation spot. The lighthouses remind me of our trip to Prince Edward Island.
Love your WIP! I have this one all kitted up and ready to go but haven't had the time to get started on it yet.
We discovered Ocracoke last year and whenever I ask my hubby what he wants to do this weekend, go to Ocracoke is the answer. I'd agree except it's awfully long ride from here.
