Here are some more snaps taken by DH a few days ago. He was allowed to work today and will work tomorrow, but the campus will be closed all weekend and nobody except essential personnel will be allowed to be on campus. I guess I will have to wait to see for myself what has happened. The destroyed building below is (was) right next door to where I used to work and next door to where DH works. Tornados work in mysterious ways for sure. One of my coworkers lost her barns but no one was hurt except for one poor chicken that died. Her mom and sister were in the barn when it occurred. Amazing. All their milking goats survived. Many homes in the area were damaged as well as vehicles, but again, no injuries.

Barb,
Thanks for sharing. Just read a couple of your previous posts. Totally know what you mean about missing your daughter. And I do love texting. Our family goes through spates of time when we text about everything...then we go quiet...then something like this tornado comes up and we're back at it. Weird.
oh the joys of midwest living. When we lived in Valley View, Ohio we had one go right through the woods in the back of our house. It missed our place but took out a bunch of trees and damamged a few roofs thankfully it was nothing more.
Glad there were no injuries in your area...
Take Care
That looks scary!!! Reminded me of the experience I had when I was in upstate New York. It was a really bad storm and it caused a lot of damage in town, we didn't have power for days, and windows at my friend's apartment shattered. Those were some scary times.
I'm glad to hear no person was injured during this tornado. I hope everything will be back in order soon!!!
Wow! I am so glad everyone was safe. That must have been very, very scary.
OH WOW!! So glad no one was hurt!
But what terrible damage! Sorry to hear about the chicken....but glad no other animals or people were hurt!
